The Challenge

Selecting the right PPE is more than simply wearing safety equipment. Workers need to understand what hazards they may encounter, which PPE is required, and whether they are correctly equipped before starting work.

Traditional safety training often relies on classroom presentations, posters and demonstrations. While these methods communicate PPE requirements, they provide limited opportunity for workers to practise making decisions in a realistic environment.

The solution was designed to help workers understand why PPE is required for specific hazards, identify the correct PPE for different work environments, recognize incorrect or missing PPE, practise PPE selection safely, and demonstrate both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Our Solution

AuraInteract developed an interactive 3D PPE Selection Training simulation that transforms PPE safety instruction into an interactive learning experience. Instead of simply watching a demonstration, trainees enter a simulated work environment, assess the situation, and interact with PPE equipment.

The learning journey follows: Understand the Environment → Identify Hazards → Determine PPE Requirements → Select PPE → Verify PPE → Complete Safety Check → Test Knowledge.

04 - Select the Correct PPE

Testing Mode reduces instructional assistance and requires the learner to independently select and verify appropriate PPE.
