Aura Interact to Showcase Immersive VR, CBT and Device-Agnostic Safety Training at OSH India 2026 in Mumbai

Mumbai, India | September 2026: Workplace safety training is becoming more experiential, practical, and technology-driven as organisations look for better ways to prepare employees for high-risk situations. At OSH India 2026, Aura Interact will showcase how Virtual Reality (VR), Computer-Based Training (CBT), and Device-Agnostic Training (DAT) can bring real-world safety scenarios into a controlled training environment.

Visitors can experience Aura Interact’s hands-on VR, CBT, and device-agnostic safety training solutions at Stall S7, Hall 3, from 7–9 October 2026 in Mumbai.

The company will demonstrate VR-based and computer-based training experiences designed around workplace situations where preparation, awareness, and correct procedures can make a significant difference. The focus will include Fire Safety Training, Work at Height Safety Training, and Confined Space Safety Training, along with other immersive safety scenarios.

Making Safety Training More Practical with VR, CBT and DAT

Traditional safety training often depends on classroom sessions, presentations, videos, and demonstrations. While these methods remain useful, some workplace situations are difficult to recreate safely during training.

This is where VR, CBT, and device-agnostic training can add another dimension.

With an immersive VR environment, employees can be placed inside simulated workplace scenarios and asked to observe hazards, follow safety procedures, make decisions, and understand the consequences of incorrect actions, without being exposed to the actual risks associated with the situation.

The same scenarios can also be delivered as Computer-Based Training (CBT) on desktops and laptops, and through Device-Agnostic Training (DAT) that runs across VR headsets, PCs, tablets, and mobile devices. This allows organisations to extend safety training to a wider workforce, including teams and locations where VR headsets may not always be available.

For example, Work at Height Safety Training can simulate situations involving scaffolding, fall protection equipment, elevated work areas, and other hazards associated with working at height. Instead of simply explaining safety procedures, VR allows trainees to experience the environment and interact with the scenario, while CBT and DAT versions let them practise the same procedures on the device available to them.

Similarly, Confined Space Safety Training can recreate the challenges associated with entering and working inside confined spaces, helping trainees understand the importance of procedures, equipment, hazard identification, and emergency response.

Experiencing Fire Safety Training in a Virtual Environment

Fire emergencies are another area where practical training can be challenging to conduct regularly.

Aura Interact’s VR, CBT, and device-agnostic approach can create simulated fire emergency situations where trainees can experience the environment, identify hazards, understand response procedures, and practise decision-making in a controlled setting.

The goal is not to replace established workplace safety protocols or practical training, but to provide organisations with an additional way to make safety learning more engaging, experiential, and accessible.

Visit Aura Interact at OSH India 2026

The upcoming exhibition will give safety professionals, EHS teams, industrial organisations, training managers, and other visitors an opportunity to experience these VR, CBT, and device-agnostic solutions directly.

Rather than simply watching a demonstration, visitors to Aura Interact’s booth will be able to put on a VR headset and experience immersive safety training first-hand, and also try the computer-based and device-agnostic versions of the same training modules.

A More Experiential Approach to Workplace Safety

As industries continue to adopt immersive and digital technologies for training and workforce development, VR, CBT, and device-agnostic training are opening new possibilities for preparing employees for situations that may be difficult, expensive, or unsafe to recreate in the real world.

Aura Interact is bringing this approach to OSH India 2026 with a focus on practical, scenario-based VR, CBT, and device-agnostic training for workplace safety.

If you are exploring VR, CBT, or device-agnostic training for fire safety, work at height, confined space, or other industrial safety training, visit Aura Interact at Stall S7, Hall 3, during OSH India 2026 and experience the technology yourself.
